Invaritar™ modular, large-field telecentric gauging lenses provide a wide range of solutions for a variety of machine vision applications. A telecentric lens system is created by combining a base lens with an appropriate attachment lens to achieve the required magnification and field of view.

Teleconverters are short relay optics that fit between the lens and the camera to increase the effective magnification. They are available at 1.5x or 2x power. The penalties for their use are increased image-size f-number, reduced mazimum object size (by the power factor), and increased distortion.
